said that the person who sings "prays twice." Music through
song and instrument is a very important part of the FCC worship experience.
- The Sanctuary Choir rehearses each Thursday at 7:00
p.m. and sings at the traditional service each Sunday, September through
May. Seasonal Cantatas are presented at various times throughout the
year.
- The Bell Choir rehearses on Thursdays at 6:15
p.m. This unique choir of bells is special due to the colorful
harmony of music it brings to worship services.
WE NEED YOUR HELP!!! BUY A KEY FOR FCC…
There are 88 keys on a piano, no matter whether it’s a vertical or a grand. You can always remember that there are 36 inches in a yard, and 52 weeks in a year. Add those together, and you’ll get 88.
At the present time, there are a total of 352 keys represented on 4 acoustic pianos in the church. With this in mind, all of these pianos date back to the 50’s and 60’s. We all know that things were “made better back then”, however, time has taken its toll, and we are in serious need of replacements.
Take time to notice the easel in the Narthex. On it you will find a piano keyboard. The Worship ministry is asking you to prayerfully consider “buying a key to FCC”. Any amount that you wish to give will be greatly appreciated.
